Tom Katsioulas
Expert in Semiconductor Business Ecosystems and Value Chain Monetization
Tom Katsioulas is an expert with more than 30 years of experience in semiconductor ecosystem development, supply chain traceability for security and monetization, and trusted digital infrastructure. He has extensive experience enabling multi-company collaborative, platform-based business ecosystems across the semiconductor value chain.
He served as a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Internet of Things Advisory Board, providing industry expertise on semiconductor supply chain security, digital infrastructure, and the strategic role of trusted silicon in secure and resilient AI and IoT ecosystems. His work focuses on ecosystem orchestration and interoperable traceability infrastructure that strengthens supply chain resilience, improves lifecycle visibility, and enables new data-driven business models across semiconductor ecosystems.
He previously chaired the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Trusted IoT Ecosystem Security (TIES) program, a collaborative initiative involving more than 50 companies across semiconductor design, manufacturing, and end-market applications to advance trusted silicon and secure lifecycle infrastructure across global supply chains.
Earlier in his career, he led TrustChain at Siemens, a silicon lifecycle management platform focused on semiconductor for silicon lifecycle management across the value chain. His experience spans engineering, strategy, and leadership roles across the semiconductor and electronic design automation industry, including positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed executive education at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
