Jean-Dominique Seval has over than 25 years of experience in the analysis of the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries and markets.

From 1997 to 2019, Jean-Dominique was Deputy CEO of IDATE DigiWorld where as Director of the Research Business Unit he was in charge of studies, marketing and sales managing a team of 20 people. He was in particular in charge of business with most of the European telecom and media operators such as: BT, Bouygues Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Mediaset, Nokia, Swisscom, TDF, Telefonica, Vivendi, etc. as well as international players like Corning, Google, Huawei, ZTE, etc.

Jean-Dominique is also behind the creation of IDATE’s DigiWorld Future conference, which takes place every year in Brussels, Paris and London.

Previously, he held various leadership positions in the ICT sector with organizations such as STRATEGA, BIPE and XERFI.

Jean-Dominique has been based in China since 2019 where he takes advantage of the Chinese Tech environment to exercise his activities as an ICT expert as well as chairman of the French Tech Beijing Committee and board member of the IT / Digital Committee Coordinator of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China.

Jean-Dominique Seval is also professor at Science Po Paris, at the CNAM as well as at the University of Paris-Dauphine and Montpellier. He is a regular speaker at conferences like TEDx and is the author of a series of books on the digital revolution.

Jean-Dominique holds a DEA in economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine.
