Michel Bouet

Expert in Electronic Industry, High Tech and Semiconductors

 

Michel has over 40 years’ experience in the electronics, high-tech and, more specifically, semiconductor industries. His expertise is multifactorial: sectoral, technical, business, management and consulting.

From 2004 to 2023, Michel was Senior Industrial Advisor to Société Générale’s Risk Department. In this capacity, Michel advised management on decisions relating to companies in the technology sectors, and specifically the semiconductor industry, in the case of financing and/or equity investments worldwide. In this capacity, Michel met several hundred company directors (Consulting Engineer).

From 2000 to 2004, Michel was Director of Strategy Consulting at Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC).

From 1993 to 2000, Michel was Director of a new Fayat Group business line aimed at building a solution to manage the quality of water discharged into the natural environment (electronic, IT and telecom systems).

From 1991 to 1993, Michel was IT Director at the Institut Gustave Roussy (cancer treatment center in Villejuif). In this role, he managed multi-disciplinary teams (hospital management IT, imaging, Big Data).

From 1990 to 1991, Michel was an engineer at DGA’s Centre d’Électronique de l’Armement, in charge of evaluating an anti-aircraft defense system and anti-radar missiles.

From 1986 to 1990, Michel was an engineer with EDF’s Direction de l’équipement, in charge of setting up the electrical installations for the French power plants then under construction.

From 1979 to 1986, Michel was Chief Engineer at Péchiney, in charge of plant automation: real-time computing and production management.

Michel graduated from a Master’s degree in engineering from CentraleSupélec.
