Thomas Rémond

Expert in Mobility, Transportation and Logistics

 

Thomas Remond is an expert in mobility, freight transport and logistics, particularly in multimodal, port and rail transport, as well as QHSE (quality, health, safety and environment) matters.

He has spent most of his career in these fields, notably at SNCF Réseau (formerly RFF) and Naviland Cargo, the combined transport and shipping subsidiary of the SNCF Logistics Group, where he was Director of Development and then QHSE Director.

Thomas is familiar with the strategies of transport and logistics players, the supply chain organisation of industrial shippers and the issues of decarbonisation and modal shift. He regularly carries out projects aimed at optimising logistics sites, both in terms of their strategic positioning and their operational organisation.

Since 2022, Thomas has also been teaching transport – logistics and QHSE at the CNAM in Paris and at the CNAM in Normandy (ITIP).

Thomas is a graduate of the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (IEP SP 1990) and holds a DEA in transport and planning (Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech 1992) and a Masters in general management (ESSEC 2021).
